Read the care label:

It is essential to check the garment's care label to ensure you follow the washing instructions correctly, as these may vary depending on the garment's composition or type of fabric.

Hand wash in cold water,

Avoid scrubbing with excessive force or wringing the garment, as this could damage delicate fibers and is essential to preserve its shape and durability.

Remove excess water:

To remove excess water, avoid wringing the garment. Instead, press gently to remove water. You can also wrap the garment in a clean towel and roll it up. Then, press gently so the towel absorbs the excess water.

Drying:

Place the garment on a flat surface to dry naturally, avoiding direct sunlight, as this could damage the fibers.

SOME TIPS

Do not use a washing machine or dryer for washing or drying knitted garments.
Never use bleach or lye.
To prevent the garment from shrinking or felting, avoid contact with hot water and refrain from wringing or tumble-drying it.
To preserve the shape and softness of your alpaca garment, avoid hanging it when wet. Instead, let it air dry on a flat surface. Hanging it while wet can stretch the fibers and deform the garment.
It is advisable not to wash alpaca garments too frequently. Alpaca is a natural fiber that tends to stay clean and fresh longer than other materials. Additionally, frequent washing can cause premature wear of the fibers and reduce the softness and quality of the garment over time.
